About me
If New Delhi is the city of my birth and my growing up, Dresden is the city that captured my heart and changed my life.
I came here as a tourist in 2009 and returned only briefly to India to pack my bags, give up my job in mental health and say a heart wrenching goodbye to my family. Dresden with its glorious architecture, enthralling stories and the legendary phoenix like quality of rising- from -the- ashes continues to fascinate me and I love to share my passion for it and reveal the many sides of this multi-faceted city to our guests.
I am licenced as a guide by IHK (The Chamber of Industry & Commerce) for the city of Dresden and have continued to study and deepen my knowledge of Dresden and Germany.

My story in brief
It was dawn, almost the end of March in the year 2009, and I stood on a bridge over the River Elbe looking at the soft ethereal beauty of the sunrise over the city of Dresden filling in the details and the colours of the famous silhouette. I had fallen in love with the city over the few days I had been in it and this view from the river was the proverbial icing on the cake. “Why” I asked myself, “don’t I have the good fortune to live in a city this beautiful”?
One should be careful of wishes they say, especially early morning ones, because they can come true.
I write this in 2019, ten years after I really did move to this elegant baroque city, the Elbe Florence, where the sun still rises and sets in spectacular colours. And I have discovered that Saxony, the German state which calls Dresden its capital, has even more to offer than people are aware of. So does the rest of Germany.
I used to be a counselor and psychologist but now I am a certified guide and tour leader based in Dresden who speaks German in addition to my mother languages of Hindi and English. I work closely with other guides and can organize guided tours also in German, Italian, Russian, French and other languages.
Allow me to show you the city from the eyes of someone who fell in love with it and still loves it dearly. Let me organize trips for you around Dresden for example to the majestic and natural beauty of Saxon Switzerland National Park, or to marvel at masterpieces of Saxon craftsmanship like Meissen Porcelain or Glashütte watches.
Come and fall in love, too!
