WWII in Dresden: Memory, Destruction, and Reckoning
At the centre of this experience is the 3 hour Dresden Memory Walk through the historic heart of Dresden’s Old Town, where the legacy of World War II is etched into the cobbled streets, skyline, the stones of its buildings and even its cultural heritage.
This walk focuses on the Allied bombing of February 1945, its devastating impact, the immediate aftermath and the city’s long, complex process of rebuilding and remembrance. Led by only a few of our team, the Dresden Memory Walk is not just about dates and facts. It is an intensive, well-researched thoughtful perspective on the subject. Language: English
